IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR MINISTERS
All Ministers: The attached schedule is for the Month of March only. This will allow time for you to decide which new Mass times you are most comfortable serving. With the changing of Mass times the following is a list of how the current preferences were broken down. A new Ministry form is attached. If you would like to make changes to your preferences please complete the form and return it to Cathy Remick by March 4, 2011.

Lectors: When you carry the book of the Gospels to the altar in the entrance procession, Fr. Maloney would like it placed in the middle of the altar, not on the side. You will note at Mass that he moves it if it is placed to the side. We were instructed to place it on the side, but now ask that it always at each Mass be placed in the center of the altar, lying flat. Thank you.
Also be sure you have a substitute when you are unable to be present for your assigned liturgy. Also, we have trouble having people sign up for special Masses and Services. Please step forward and help where you can. Lists are always in the sacristy well in advance for the next special event.
If you are the lector 2 on the 2nd or 4th Sunday of the month at the 10 AM Mass only, please do not be in the entrance procession. We ask that you stay up front, read the announcements from the cantor's stand, wait for the procession to come forward, then join the other reader in front of the first pew on St. Joseph's side, and proceed to your seat behind the ambo. The choir sings from the loft and the cantor is up there and we need the announcements read from up front. If you are having a substitute, be sure to tell them of this change. Thank you.
