Saint Aloysius Carnival



Teams will consist of two players. The fee to compete is $40.00 per team.

Pre-registration is required. If there is a lack of interest event will be cancelled and refunds made.

Check in/Registration will begin at 2:00PM. Bags will fly at 3:00PM.

Teams are encouraged to have a theme and dress however not necessary to play.

Saint Aloysius will host a school carnival Wednesday, September 25 through Saturday, September 28 nightly from 6PM-10PM.

The midway is presented by Tons of Fun Amusements, Douglassville. There will be plenty of carnival food available cotton candy, funnel cake, popcorn, etc. as well as the Knights of Columbus are sponsoring the Grill again this year offering Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Chicken Fingers and French Fries.

Warker Troutman Funeral Home is sponsoring the delicious desert table of Waffles and Ice Cream. Such a yummy treat to enjoy each year.

There will be plenty of carnival games as well as the infamous basket raffles by Regina Brady and a new addition of a fresh item from one of our local Pottstown bakeries raffle! We thank all the bakeries [who will be listed by name shortly] for the wonderful additions to our carnival.

The $1.00 Raffle ticket is another hot item this year. Be sure to purchase yours for a chance to win the Grand Prize of $500 or one of the consolation prizes of 2nd place: $250, 3rd Place: $100 - [two winners in this category], or 4th place: $50 [three winners in this category]. Tickets are available in the school office during school hours, after Masses on the weekend and at the carnival nightly. All proceeds benefit the School.


Sponsorship Opportunities Available

We are in need of sponsors to help make our Saint Aloysius Carnival a success.

Our event is open to the entire Pottstown community and surrounding areas as well as to our 2,800+ registered families which is roughly 7,500 members and our school families as well.  Everyone is invited and encouraged to join the fun and experience a great time.  The event will be advertised in the Pottstown Mercury, area church bulletins, facebook, as well as signs and posters around the surrounding area beginning next week.  We are able to provide you with a poster to hang in your business just let us know if you would like one.

 There are several different levels of sponsorship available.  Each level is listed on the materials outlined here for your review.  The named sponsorships (Pastor’s Corner, 1856 Corner Stone, Gonzaga, and Knight) come with several incentives.  Questions regarding any of the enclosed material/sponsorship information may be directed to Mrs. Cathy Remick at 610-326-5877, ext. 427.

We are sure that you are as interested as we are in keeping our Pottstown community strong and vibrant, therefore we kindly ask you to consider sponsoring us this year.  Whatever you can do will be greatly appreciated and can truly be seen as an investment in the well-being of our Saint Aloysius Parish School community.  Our goal for the festival this year is $30,000.  With your help and the help of sponsors just like you we can get there!  All profit from the carnival will be used to help to defray our school’s operational costs.
