 Dear Friends,

On Friday, September 8, we celebrated the birthday of our Blessed Mother. But we also celebrated a very special day in the history of our school, because it was on Friday, September 8, 2017 that we received the certificate of occupancy which allowed us to move our school to its new location.  I like to think of it as the sixth birthday of our new school and I do not believe in coincidences. I believe that dear Mary indeed guided us to that great day six years ago and is still guiding us as we begin our seventh year. And oh, how far we have come! Our enrollment on that day back in 2017 was 237. Today, we are serving 310 students and for the third year in a row have been recognized as a school of Academic Distinction. This means that our students score higher on standardized tests, than their IQ’s would predict. That of course can only happen because of the skill and care of our wonderful faculty. Our children, our faculty and our families love being here and it is clear that we are a beacon of hope to our community. But what is even more important than all that to me is that all of these wonderful blessings are taking place in the context of a beautiful Catholic formation which allows are children to grow and thrive while equipping them to fulfill their baptismal call to become the saints that are so much needed in our world today.

Dear friends none of this could have happened or can continue to happen without you. You have been with us all the way and we need your help as much as ever. With this letter, we officially begin our Annual Fund Appeal for the 2023/2024 school year. We are deeply grateful and ask for your help once again. This year, we have set the goal for our Appeal at $200,000.00. It is indeed a challenging goal but we know that with your help it can be achieved.  The tuition we charge is more than $1,000.00 less than the actual cost of educating a student and is also more than $1,000.00 less than the nearest three Archdiocesan elementary schools.  We want to make a Catholic education as accessible to as many future saints as we can.  That is what your contribution to our Annual Fund does. Your contribution makes our education and formation accessible to as many young souls as possible.

And so, dear friends, we once again humbly and boldly ask all of you to continue your journey with Saint Aloysius Parish School so that together we might continue to build the dream that with the grace of God we have together brought into existence. Our wonderful school continues to shine ever more brightly in our community and in our hearts as the beacon of hope that it truly is, as through it we give our students the opportunity to learn, to pray and to worship.  This gives you, as one who very much believes in and supports our school, a unique opportunity to make a strong statement in support of our mission at this moment in time. Therefore, we ask you to prayerfully ask the Lord’s guidance in contributing an amount that will be meaningful to you and your family. If it is at all possible, we ask that you might increase your gift this year. That is what is at the heart of our appeal. Your gift will support our effort to keep our students safely in school and our school effectively sustainable and to enhance its much-needed mission.  Know that your gift will be greatly appreciated and will have a profound impact on each and every child at Saint Aloysius Parish School.

With gratitude and great hope in our future, “We are and with God’s grace ever will be….   Saint Aloysius!”

With gratitude for your consideration and great hope in our future,

“We are and with God’s grace ever will be….   Saint Aloysius!”
